In recent years, there has been a lot of interest in comic strips. This is partly due to the popularity of the graphic novel: the literary comic. Furthermore, the comic is increasingly used for all kinds of information provision, for example to illustrate journalistic items, for advertising purposes or in user instructions.
The Bachelor in Comic Design in Zwolle responds to that interest by offering a course in comic design. You are taught by prominent comic illustrators like Hanco Kolk and Sam Peeters, and lessons from invited prominent artists and comic designers from the work field.
