The ArtEZ Academy of Theatre & Dance in Arnhem and Zwolle is the place where you can discover and bring out the dance artist, actor or artist educator in yourself. Here you will find your own unique artistic voice, within the cultural and societal context of the day.
As a student of the Academy of Theatre & Dance, you will dare to question yourself and even your discipline – what is dance, actually? What could theatre be? In order to find answers, you will establish relationships within and outside your own disciplines.
In exchange for your commitment, you can expect unusual approaches from us. We do this to prompt you to think even more deeply about questions like: how can I be a compassionate activist? How can I use my body's movement and my thinking as a tool to get others moving?
Most of the courses at the Academy of Theatre & Dance are in Arnhem. The Artist Educator in Theatre & Media course is offered in Zwolle.
