Zino van Hamersveld wins Emmy Award

The documentary ‘The Star Apartments’ by Joris Debeij has won the Los Angeles Area Emmy Award. Zino van Hamersveld, who graduated in 2014 from the ArtEZ University of the Arts with a degree in MediaMusic, created the beautiful music for the documentary. See and listen here
Zino has collaborated on more than 20 productions with Los Angeles-based Joris Debeij, whose three Emmy Awards make him the most award-winning Dutch filmmaker in the U.S. They became acquainted when Zino was doing an internship in L.A.
Zino works as a composer, sound designer and mixer on films, documentaries, company videos and video games and recently had the opportunity to record the Dutch voices for Steven Spielberg’s film ‘The BFG’ as technician/audio engineer.
