From 7 to 8 October, ArtEZ's Sophia Building became the epicenter of creativity as students ventured into the 24 Hours Drawing Project—an experience in which they devised and created art for 24 hours, without sleep. The walls of the building were transformed into a living canvas on which the various disciplines each fulfilled their unique assignments.

Comic Design students created one comic page an hour. Meanwhile, Graphic Design students threw themselves into designing an entire costume and Artisteducator students in Theatre & Media brought a performance to life in the Sophia Building every few hours. And there, in rhythm with the clock, were also the courses for Fine Art & Design in Education, Illustration Design, and Animation Design, each hour dedicated to their art. Each hour was a new chapter, each effort bringing them closer to their creative goals.

During the 24 hours, the 24 Hours news crew, consisting of Artisteducator students Niek van Remmerden and Joost Smit, together with ArtEZ staff members Seppe Ovink and René Karomi, followed the students at every moment of the day. A mini-documentary captured the commitment and creativity of the participants as they took on the challenge. The project broke not only physical but also artistic boundaries, leaving a lasting impression in the corridors of ArtEZ Zwolle.
