Finals highlights #8

This is the last chance of this school year to discover the work of the new generation of makers. ArtEZ Finals is slowly coming to an end. In the coming weeks, the final exhibitions, concerts, and performances will take place in which graduating students present their work.

Graduation exhibition ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design Arnhem

Programmes: BEAR Fine Art, Creative Writing, Design Art Technology, Fine Art and Design in Education, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, and International Master Artist Educator.
When: Wednesday July 1 to Saturday July 4, 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM
Location: ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design Arnhem

For four days, graduating students of the Academy of Art & Design Arnhem will present their final work during the annual exhibition. Spread across various locations in Arnhem, you can discover a wide range of disciplines: from fashion and graphic design to visual arts, product design, and creative writing. Come by and experience the work of a new generation of artists and designers up close.

Five Voices Five Tones

Programme: Master of Music
When: Wednesday July 1, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: ArtEZ Conservatory in Zwolle

Pianist and composer Xueshen Jin presents Five Voices Five Tones: an original album featuring seven compositions. It brings together Chinese musical traditions and contemporary jazz. Come and listen to how tradition and innovation meet.

Graduation show ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design Zwolle

Programmes: Comic Design, Animation Design, Graphic Design, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Illustration Design, Education in Arts, and Fine Art and Design in Education
When: Thursday July 2 to Sunday July 5
Location: ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design Zwolle

Graduating students in Zwolle also present their final work during a diverse exhibition. In addition to the exhibition, there are presentations, performances, and talks in which students show how they shape their role as artists, designers, or educators. Be inspired by new ideas, stories, and designs.

Fray; Unpicking Fashion

Programme: Master Critical Fashion Practices
When: Friday July 3 to Sunday July 5, times?
Location: Galla Studios, Amsterdam

What happens when you begin to unravel not just a garment, but the entire fashion system? In Fray; Unpicking Fashion, eight graduating students of the Master Critical Fashion Practices present their final projects. The exhibition explores the stories, structures, and myths that shape the fashion industry, and raises questions about identity, labour, technology, and power.
