What you will learn during the Preparatory Music Course
Making music at a high level and everything you need to prepare for the entrance examination to the Bachelor's programme; it's all in the Music Preparatory Programme.
You will train your musical skills and receive guidance and information to help you progress musically. This includes main subject lessons on your instrument or singing, participating in recital evenings and being part of the working days (you can read more about this below). You will also receive lessons in music theory. All lessons are given by conservatoire teachers.
In one year you will learn how things work at the ArtEZ Conservatoire and whether a study at the conservatoire is something for you. Taking the Preparatory Course in Music does not guarantee admission to a bachelor's degree programme, but the lessons given by conservatoire teachers can increase your chances of getting one. In any case, they provide the best possible preparation for the entrance examination.
