Programme
We offer a packed programme so that you can make a good choice. Ask all your questions, visit the information sessions, watch and listen to lots of music or participate in one of the workshops. Test your theoretical knowledge with a trial entrance exam, have your demo evaluated by one of our teachers or come and play your own instrument.
The Academy of Music is bursting at the seams with music!
Throughout the day, the Academy of Music is full of music in all shapes and sizes combined with the very best in technology, music education and music therapy.
In the small and large halls of the music centre and in our own concert hall, bands and singer songwriters perform or you can take part in the sing-a-long. The open lessons, workshops, instrument demonstrations and live performances by Pop Academy and MediaMusic students are just a small selection of the many forms in which you can hear that music is flowing out of every nook and cranny here.

Bring your instrument and visit one of the main subject teachers. The following instruments will be present: Vocals, Keyboards, Drums, Bass Guitar, Guitar, Songwriting, and Electronic Music Production.
Demo drop
Would you like to apply for one of the MediaMusic programmes? Do you have a great track that you would like to have assessed? Bring your demo to the open day; we will give you feedback and advice.
You can register at the information desk in the canteen.
Theory and Admission
During the day, there are several sessions in which you can find out about a preliminary course, theory test and entrance exam.
Music theory test & Voice test
To test your current knowledge of music theory, you can take a trial entrance exam. The test is completely non-binding and will give you an impression of how the theory exam works.
In addition to the theory test, you can also take a voice test.
You can register at the information deksk in the canteen or at the education desk on the 1st floor.
