Two-Step Admission Process
Motivation Interview
Your 30-minute interview is a thoughtful discussion about your path toward music therapy. We'll explore how this profession aligns with your goals and assess your readiness for graduate-level study. Your submitted motivation statement will guide our conversation about your professional aspirations and academic preparation.
Musical Audition
Additionally to the 5 minute musical video, you might be requested to complete a 30-minute musical audition. This requirement may be waived if you hold a Bachelor's degree in Music and can document four semesters of vocal and piano studies at conservatory level.
For candidates who need to complete the audition, you'll demonstrate your musical proficiency through vocal and piano performances. Specific repertoire requirements are outlined in the program guidelines.
Next Steps
After your motivation interview, we'll provide feedback on your application and, if needed, schedule your audition. This process helps us ensure that you're well-prepared for the challenges and rewards of our music therapy program.
