Programme

The pre-master programme includes all music therapy related courses set within the CROHO Music Therapy Bachelor’scourse, as well as an internship.

The pre-master is 60 EC. The subjects are: theory of music therapy, music therapy approaches, health sciences (psychology, anatomy, neurology, psychopathology, psychology for special needs), self-experience and musical improvisation.

Internship

In addition, you must complete an internship for at least 12 hours per week (for a period of at least 45 weeks) within the domain of music therapy by a certified music therapist. The Pre-Master's internship must be guided by an ArtEZ Music Therapy course approved supervisor (at own expense).

Online

The Pre-Master's involves a weekly programme, that you can follow both online and on location. In addition, you attend five intensive weeks (in September, November, January, March/April) on location, in which you will be immersed in improvisation lessons, methodical deepening and therapy of learning.
