Arnhem, Zwolle and Enschede are buzzing with ArtEZ talent until Summer! From music performances to dance, exhibitions and fashion shows; the finals celebration has begun. Who, what, where? Read on!
Makers of tomorrow
Finals is the annual moment when hundreds of ArtEZ graduates present their final work to the public. A unique opportunity to discover new talent, often for free. Here’s a glimpse of what to expect:
Art and design, 24/7
In Enschede, AKI transforms the city into an open-air gallery with the Mupi Project. This means you can view graduation work from the Fine Art (Painting, Sculpture, Media), Crossmedia Design and Moving Image programmes, 24 hours a day. As the name suggests, the works are presented on large-scale Mupi posters across the city. Wandering through the streets, you’ll encounter the newest generation of artists and designers from the Enschede academy.
A personal story about believing in yourself
In Zwolle, Hilde Borreman, graduate of Music in Education at the Academy of Music, presents her personal musical Een droom die uitkomt. From a little girl who couldn’t stop singing, to an almost-graduated conservatory student. The show features children from Heerde and talents from Telekids Musicalschool, through whom Hilde shares her message: anything is possible, as long as you believe in yourself.
Newest generation of fashion designers
In Arnhem, the annual graduation show of Fashion Design takes place at Industriepark Kleefse Waard (IPKW). Here, graduating students present their final collections in a spectacular setting where craftsmanship, vision, and innovation take centre stage.
