Royal honour for ArtEZ lecturer Claudia Patacca

Claudia Patacca, lecturer in Classical Music at ArtEZ Academy of Music in Zwolle, was appointed Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau at the end of April. The royal honour recognises her many years of contribution to the music world as an opera singer and teacher, both nationally and internationally. She has also contributed to the cultural visibility of Oldenzaal.

International career and education

Throughout her career, Claudia has performed in concerts and opera productions in the Netherlands and abroad. She is also a sought-after guest lecturer and gives masterclasses at various conservatories across Europe. At ArtEZ Academy of Music, she brings her artistic experience and international network into her teaching on a daily basis.

The royal honour was presented by Patrick Welman, Mayor of the municipality of Oldenzaal.
