We’re already in the final week, and it has flown by! Fortunately, there’s still plenty to see, experience and enjoy. Whether you visit an exhibition, watch a performance or allow yourself to be surprised by a graduation film, now is the time to experience the Class of ’25 in action.

Screening Animation Design ArtEZ
On Monday evening 30 June, the Fraterhuis cinema in Zwolle opens its doors for a special screening hosted by Animation Design students. The evening focuses entirely on the graduation work of these promising young makers, revealing the many faces of contemporary animation.
Exhibition – AKI ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design
From 27 June to 4 July 2025, the AKI ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design presents its annual graduation exhibition in Enschede, featuring work from the Fine Art, Cross-Media Design and Moving Image programmes. This exhibition offers a rich and varied portrait of a generation that refuses to be confined to one style or message.

Kunstend beeldenaar
In Zwolle’s Odeon Theatre, on 1 July, Saranya Schaap performs her immersive and sometimes boldly raw music during her graduation concert Kunstend Beeldenaar. With this performance, she concludes her bachelor's in Jazz & Pop.
Graduation Exhibition – ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design Zwolle
From 3 to 6 July, the Sophiagebouw in Zwolle is entirely dedicated to the finals of the ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design Zwolle. This exhibition showcases everything from fine art and design to illustration and interior architecture. It's a celebration of a diverse and creative group of graduates.

Finals concert Qisheng Zheng
From classical roots in China to a powerhouse of flute and vocals in Arnhem. Qisheng Zheng is graduating from the bachelor’s programme Jazz & Pop at the ArtEZ Academy of Music in Arnhem this summer. She’s a real all-rounder, blending oriental sounds with free improv, rap, hip hop and jazz.
Graduation Exhibition – ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design Arnhem
Meanwhile, behind the scenes in Arnhem, the ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design Arnhem is preparing for its own graduation show. From 2 to 5 July, the academy’s halls and studios will be packed with final projects, ranging from narrative experiments in Creative Writing to designs from Product Design and investigations from Design Art Technology.

The exploited uterus – a multidisciplinary installation
In her graduation project for the Moving Image bachelor’s programme at AKI ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design, Lucia Conde Arenas investigates the exploitation of the uterus across history, biology, and systems of power. Through film, sculpture, and organic material, she creates an installation that challenges dominant narratives around reproduction, labour, and life itself.
