Monique Peperkamp

Monique Peperkamp is conducting PhD research at Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis. Educated as an artist at Rietveld Academy, and as an art historian at the University of Amsterdam, she has worked for over a decade as a coach, lecturer and teacher in art theory.

The research she is conducting was funded by an NWO grant for teachers. The working title is Past Nature in Contemporary Art and New Materialisms: How Art and Philosophy Interact; the research is motivated by social and ecological concerns, connected to the question of the power of art.
