Merel ten Elzen

Merel ten Elzen graduated in 1999 from the Maastricht drama academy as a director and 1st degree drama teacher. Since 2000 she has combined directing theater performances with producing television programs and documentaries. For writing the script for the film Zoals Wij, she won Best Script awards at film festivals in Eugene Colorado and in Pittsburg (USA). In 2018, Merel obtained her Master's degree in art and cultural education at ArtEZ in Zwolle and since 2020 she has been giving guest lectures at this same study program in the visualization of research. Since 2005 she has been working at Rijnbrink as a Senior Advisor Cultural Education. Since 2021, she has also fulfilled the role of Program Line Coordinator CmK and CaB within this company.
