Cassandra Onck

Singer, scientist or writer? If it's up to Cassandra Onck, the answer is always: all of the above. This most curious girl in class discovered early on that you learn the most important things in life by doing them. Now she sings about the questions we don't ask at school and embodies the connection between art and science. Her sharp Dutch-language lyrics are a loving weapon against stuck frames.

Cassandra Onck graduated in 2017 from the Music Theatre programme at the ArtEZ conservatory in Arnhem, where she developed as a vocalist, writer and artistic researcher. As an artist, she tours the Netherlands and Flanders with her own thematic concerts. As a teacher and artistic researcher, she also develops new learning environments in which the relationship between creativity, resilience and well-being are central.

As an external member of the AeCT, Cassandra worked as an artistic researcher with the HAN on the City Deal Knowledge. She also worked from the professorship on the minor Create Space: A transdisciplinary research studio for students of ArtEZ and Radboud University.
