Teachers College Embedded

The Teachers College was (partly) developed by Jeroen Lutters as a Lector at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences.

The project 'Teachers College Embedded' is designed by Emiel Copini and his team on behalf of the domain director Bert Meijer and runs in 2021. The question is how the Teachers College can further develop and innovate in connection with the other teacher training courses. within the education domain at Windesheim.

Now that the Teachers College has been in existence for 5 years, it is time to take stock and move on to an integration phase of organizational development. Work is done on the basis of in-depth interviews, observations and participation. In this design-oriented research, managers, teachers, students and researchers are working together on further developing a learning organization. The basic principle here is that we connect organically with what is already there and thus create space for connections between the Teachers College and the other study programs within the domain. In the meantime, a working method has emerged from this integration process in which learning communities collaborate horizontally and dialogically on concrete issues. Giving meaning to joint action is seen as the most important task.
