The Master Music Theater deepens and broadens your craftsmanship as a music theater maker. You are challenged to intensively research your own signature: what is your artistic source, what do you want to convey and and how do you make that theatrical?

As a musician or music therapist, you understand the power of music. At the international master's course Music Therapy, you learn how to substantiate and demonstrate the effects of your music therapy through research. You will delve into the neuroscience behind music therapy, specialize in its technological aspects, participate in community music therapy projects and develop your own unique research project. All of this takes place in the vibrant, musical, and unique environment of the conservatory in Enschede.

The master's course The Sound of Innovation is about discovery. Discover yourself and your own unique musical talents, and use them in exciting and new ways. Develop innovative creations, projects and concepts that have their roots in music, but reach as far as your imagination allows you to. Expand your professional practice to include music and other sound-based creations that cross boundaries between sectors and challenge existing conventions.

Playing with the (He)Arts is a unique summer school where you can discover the therapeutic benefits of music, painting, dance, and other visual arts in healthcare. Do you want to expand your network and experience what it's like to work in a healthcare institution like Saffier? And do you want to discover or revive the artist-researcher within yourself? Then this summer school is for you!

The ArtEZ Academy of Music will be running the Directing HaFaBra application programme. The programme is designed for conductors working in the field who, after several years of practical experience, have a desire for further training.

This summer, ArtEZ offers a new Community Research Programme, executed in close collaboration with Cultural Centre Pakhuis de Zwijger (Amsterdam), titled: Designing Cities for All. We are inviting a maximum of 7 students to enroll for this initiative. During this programme you will be intellectually challenged to conduct, under supervision, embedded research in a creative and critical community in the outskirts of the city of Amsterdam – New West.
