Tuition
As a student, you pay tuition fees every year. Whether you pay the statutory or institutional tuition fees depends on a number of factors, such as your nationality and the higher education diplomas you have already obtained. Here you will find more information about the statutory and institutional tuition fees.
This course starts in February, which means you will be registered for the first 7 months in the academic year 2024-2025. As of 1 September 2025, you are registered for the academic year 2025-2026 and the tuition for that academic year applies. Below you can read what the amounts are for each academic year:

For new students in the 2024-2025 academic year, the institutional tuition fee for all Bachelor courses is € 11,200. If you previously paid the institutional tuition fee and are re-enrolling after a gap year, these amounts apply to you as well. Students already enrolled in the 2023-2024 academic year and re-enrolling on the same course at ArtEZ in the 2024-2025 academic year pay for a Bachelorcourse € 10,700. |

Have you started your studies at ArtEZ in the 2024-2025 academic year, or are you planning to start in the 2025-2026 academic year? Then the institutional tuition fee for all bachelor's courses is €11,460. Have you previously started your education and are re-enrolling in your course after a break in your studies? Then these amounts also apply to you. This also applies if you have switched courses.
Did you start your studies in the academic year 2023-2024 or earlier, have you been continuously enrolled in this course since then, and are you paying institutional tuition fees of €10,700 in the current academic year? Then the tuition fee for your re-enrollment in the academic year 2025-2026 will be €10,990. |
The costs for books and other educational resources are not included in the tuition fee. You have to pay extra for this.
Funding options
There are several options for funding the four-year part-time course:
- You are still entitled to tuition credit
- You can apply to a grant scheme or Lifelong learning credit
- you make use of one of the financial arrangements
- Your employer contributes towards the costs
