‘Top-rated programme’ quality seal
The programmes and institutions with the highest score in the Keuzegids are awarded a special ‘top-rated programme’ quality seal. If a programme has this seal, you know it provides an excellent standard of education and teaching. While programmes with a quality seal are ‘the best’, others without a seal can also score highly. Each November, Keuzegids publishes the top-rated programmes for the following academic year.
What are Keuzegids’ ratings based on?
Keuzegids’ ratings are based on various sources:
- National Student Survey (NSE)
The NSE is an annual survey of student satisfaction published by Studiekeuze123. Founded by students, the higher education sector and the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, Studiekeuze123 gathers and shares objective data on study programmes in the Netherlands. As an ArtEZ student, you can take part in the survey. - Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO)
NVAO is the authorised accreditation body for higher professional and university education programmes in the Netherlands. Accreditations are usually awarded every six years. - Universities of the Netherlands and Association of Universities of Applied Sciences
Keuzegids researches how many students drop out of their programme. After all, there is little point enrolling on a programme if you don’t finish it. Keuzegids bases its conclusions on data from the Universities of the Netherlands
and the Association of Universities of Applied Sciences . - Council of Management Consultancy Firms
As a research agency, the Council of Management Consultancy Firms (Raad van Organisatie Adviesbureaus, ROA) analyses the job market for graduates.
