During the admission process, a team of teachers and students will assess whether the programme is a good fit for you. They will look at:
- Your creative ability: Can you translate ideas into images? Do you have a sense of colour, form and materials? Does your work show originality?
- Your motivation and communication: What drives you? What inspires you? And can you show and explain this clearly?
- Your way of thinking and researching: Are you curious? Are you willing to experiment? Are you able to critically evaluate your work?
The admission process includes an interview with the admissions committee. During the interview, you will:
- present a selection of your own work (portfolio);
- explain the ideas and creative process behind your work;
- show sketches and designs that give insight into how you work;
- talk about your motivation and your interest in the field.
The committee will mainly assess your visual skills, creativity and potential for growth. The interview is also your opportunity to see if the programme is the right fit for you.
