Applying for admission
You can apply for this course through Studielink. First, read the admission process for Graphic Design below. You can find general admission information for ArtEZ here. Once you've applied, you'll receive a confirmation email from ArtEZ Student Affairs. After that, the course will provide you with further details regarding the admission process.
Admission requirements
In order to enrol in the part-time Bachelor’s Graphic Design, you must meet the following requirements:
- You need a Senior General Secondary Education (HAVO), pre-university (VWO) or intermediate vocational (MBO-4) diploma or a foreign equivalent level of education.
- This course is subject to language requirements. You must meet the language requirements for the February intake before 31 January 2025.
- You have to take an entrance exam. In this exam, we assess your chances of successfully completing the course.

What to expect of the entrance examination
Interview with the admissions committee
An interview with the admissions committee is part of the admission procedure. This committee consists of lecturers and students of the Bachelor's Graphic Design. During the interview, you will present a portfolio of your own autonomous work. You will explain your work and talk about the ideas behind it. Also bring your designs and sketches with you – they provide an insight into the creative process. Your artistic skills and your creativity will be decisive. The committee will ask you about your motivation and will also be interested in your knowledge of visual art and design.
