This way, you'll get an idea if a course in visual arts suits you, and if so, you can flow into the Art & Design Preparatory Programme.

The Pre-Academy Art & Design in Arnhem is especially for you as a 16 to 25-year-old who is keen to follow an art course. During this preparatory year comprising an intensive programme of 26 study weeks, you will develop the skills you need for a bachelor’s course in fine art or design. Ideal if you are taking a gap year! This course gets a lot of applications, but you can still apply for the waiting list.

AKI BIO MATTERs is an artistic research program that focuses on working with new biomaterials where art and design meet life science, philosophy, politics, ecology, bioethics, and DIY biology.

Playing with the (He)Arts is a unique summer school where you can discover the therapeutic benefits of music, painting, dance, and other visual arts in healthcare. Do you want to expand your network and experience what it's like to work in a healthcare institution like Saffier? And do you want to discover or revive the artist-researcher within yourself? Then this summer school is for you!

This summer, ArtEZ offers a new Community Research Programme, executed in close collaboration with Cultural Centre Pakhuis de Zwijger (Amsterdam), titled: Designing Cities for All. We are inviting a maximum of 7 students to enroll for this initiative. During this programme you will be intellectually challenged to conduct, under supervision, embedded research in a creative and critical community in the outskirts of the city of Amsterdam – New West.
