Mupi Project: public art route by AKI ArtEZ
In Enschede between 16 and 29 June? Keep your eyes open! Works by all graduates of AKI ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design will be exhibited outdoors throughout the city. The Mupi project turns Enschede’s street billboards into an open-air gallery showcasing the newest generation of artists and designers.
Nadīna Podinska - Jazz & Pop Voice
On 23 June, Nadīna Podinska, a Jazz & Pop student, will present her final concert at the ArtEZ Academy of Music in Arnhem. Originally from Latvia, Nadīna will bring her unique brand of contemporary jazz to the stage with her quartet, Soniri, and special guests. Dubbed “Nadīna Jazz”, her style blends storytelling, emotion and improvisation. Expect an evening of music exploring themes of love and pain.
Finals concert by Nathan de Boer
From UK-inspired jazz fusion with his band GUSTO to timeless tracks by Sting and TOTO performed with a larger ensemble, Nathan de Boer is finishing his studies with a bang. On 25 June, he will finish his Jazz & Pop (Drums) programme at ArtEZ Academy of Music in Zwolle with a two-part concert reflecting his development as a drummer and musician. "Each set is shaped around the music that makes my heart beat faster," he says.

What air teaches us about being different
From the megacity of Mexico City to the compact town of Arnhem: for Alejandro Jimenez, studying at BEAR Fine Art meant a radical shift. In scale, pace, and freedom. But it was within this change that he found inspiration. His finals work is an ode to adaptation. And to embracing difference.
From childhood dream to graphic novel
As a kid, Moos Boeke wanted to become a children’s book author. He had forgotten about that dream until he started working on his graduation project: a graphic novel based on the short story Duizend Vadem by Benny Lindelauf. “Suddenly, I’m living that childhood dream, without even realising it. It just happened.”
