Art education, as we see it around us, is often based on conservative choices. It demonstrates a conservative anthropocentric perspective on the human and the world. It is time to change this line of thought and bring about a different form of art education, that is more progressive in nature, and helps to create a world where a post anthropocentric community based on creativity as the center piece. The notion of creative materialism, developed within AeCT, can be of great help, because it supports this notion of post anthropocentrism. In this view on art education, critical towards contemporaries, art education becomes at the core of our educational system. The project is a further exploration of the theory that is described in: Jeroen Lutters, Creative Theories of (Just About) Everything (2020). This project is a theory based evaluation of the work that has been done in the period 2014-2018 and 2018-2022 in the AeCT professorship. The endproduct will be published by Routledge.
