Professorship for Art education as Critical Tactics

In this theory based project the aim is to define the teacher as an artist. We will try to describe the principle of ‘mastering creativity’, by getting into conversation with students and teachers of the Teachers College.

An important part of the research process focuses on how to become an artist and an educator in the combination of liberal education and professional education. Liberal education, means to give full attention to the development of the adolescent behind the student, so he/she can find his/her own voice. The individual voice that, as we suppose is connected to the creative energy in nature.
This project is a further exploration of the recent publication of Emiel Copini and Jael de Jong, Teachers College Embedded. (2021).
