The intake interview for the Pre-Academy consists of an interview during which you show your work and explain your decision to apply for the Pre-Academy. The work you show can include drawings, sketches, photos, films, videos, models, clothing, stories, poems and other objects you have made.
Timetable
You will have classes at the academy two days per week and spend one day working on the assignments at home.
Start date
Assuming sufficient interest, the Pre-Academy will start in September/October 2024 and comprise 26 study weeks.
Study load
The study load is 3 days per week. You will have classes two days per week and spend one day per week working on various assignments.
Cost
The cost of participating in the Pre-Academy is € 1,990 including the cost of admission to the Pre-Academy and, and if appropriate, the admission exam for the bachelor’s course. This excludes materials costs and the cost of excursions and museum visits. Participants in the Pre-Academy are not enrolled as students and do not qualify for student finance.
Apply
The preparatory courses and programmes (contract education) are subject to the ArtEZ programme terms and conditions. This course gets a lot of applications, but you can still apply for the waiting list.
