Intake, data and costAdmission interview
The admission interview for the Pre-Academy consists of an interview during which you show your work and explain your decision to apply for the Pre-Academy. The work you show can include drawings, sketches, photos, films, videos, models, clothing, stories, poems and other objects you have made.
Dates
The admission interviews take place in March, April, and May. You will receive more information about this in February.
Timetable
You will have classes at the academy two days per week and spend one day working on the assignments at home.
Start date
The Pre-Academy starts in October 2025 and consists of 26 study weeks.
Study load
The study load is 3 days per week. You will have classes two days per week and spend one day per week working on various assignments.
Cost
The cost of participating in the Pre-Academy is € 2100 including the cost of admission to the Pre-Academy and, and if appropriate, the admission exam for the bachelor’s course. This excludes materials costs and the cost of excursions and museum visits. Participants in the Pre-Academy are not enrolled as students and do not qualify for student finance.
