BLIND / LEANDER SEEKINGS Leander Seekings presents BLIND—an immersive interdisciplinary performance that merges contemporary jazz, audiovisual installation, and conceptual improvisation. BLIND explores the boundaries of perception—an exploration of visibility, connection, and abstraction that reflects on how to perform sound and art as a young creative in todays world. I am Silke Vermeulen (20), born in Meppel and living in picturesque Uffelte. This year I will graduate from the Music in Education program at ArtEZ Academy of Music in Zwolle. Music has always been a thread in my life, and this is perhaps the most personal project so far! A performance in which my love for music, my surroundings and the power of connection come together - “In the Light of Later”.

A Symphony of a Tree A multimedia live performance composed and performed by Severin Salvenmoser.   What is it like to be a tree? What does a tree feel? What does a tree experience during its growth from seed to crown, from soil to heaven, from birth to death? The answers to these questions are out of reach for the human mind. But maybe the tree’s story can be told in the universal language of music and the natural sounds of a tree’s surroundings. Follow me on this journey through the elements. You will hear a symphony of field recordings of nature’s sounds sampled and synthesized, acoustic instruments recorded and also performed live by me. The sonic experience will be underlined by visuals interacting with the music.   Pre-recorded material performed by: Fame’s Project Orchestra Matangi Quartet   Severin Salvenmoser is a composer and musician who has worked for theatre companies, dance choreographers, and fashion shows. His autonomous project, “A Symphony of a Tree” is a modern take on the symphonic poem. Misthaven Misthaven is een nieuwe originele locatievoorstelling van Sam Janssen, voor de hele familie. Deze zomer wordt de Melkfabriek in Arnhem omgetoverd tot een magische wereld. Ontdek een avontuurlijk verhaal waarin de realiteit vervaagt en fantasie werkelijkheid wordt.  Maak kennis met Nadia, een jonge verhalenverteller die al vertellend de werkelijkheid kan veranderen. In een wereld waar kronieken—levende boeken die elk moment van iemands levensverhaal vastleggen—zorgvuldig bewaakt worden in de Acht Archieven, gaat Nadia op zoek naar de waarheid over haar verhaal. Wat staat er in haar kroniek en wie vervaagt haar bladzijden? Al zoekend en vertellend raakt ze steeds verder verstrikt in haar eigen verhalen, of zijn het herinneringen? Kan de grens tussen verbeelding en waarheid ontrafeld worden… of blijft Cordona voorgoed gevangen in de misten van Misthaven?
