Final Exam | Lieke Bax | Bachelor Jazz & Pop | Vocal
- Finals
There was a closet. A closet in which she collected everything: wads of thoughts and days that felt too heavy for tomorrow. The closet closed. She walked away quickly and she lived happily ever after - right?

In Ruumte Veur Morge, Lieke Bax sets the closet ajar again and takes the audience on her quest for resilience. With her Limburg-language indie-pop/folk songs and music by her great inspiration Kate Bush, she gives her personal experiences a place, so she can make room for tomorrow.
As an artist, Lieke moves between her personal music and her role as frontwoman of the Kate Bush Tribute Band This Woman's Work. After collaborations with various musicians and a tour with Herman van Veen, Lieke and her band - consisting of piano, acoustic and electric guitar, bass, drums and two backing vocals - bring an evening where all these worlds come together.
Ruumte Veur Morge is not a heavy performance, but tackles vulnerable topics in a light-hearted and accessible way. By sharing her personal stories, Lieke Bax not only offers recognition, but invites an open conversation. This performance is for anyone who longs for an evening of music, personal stories and a bit of lightheartedness - as well as for those who simply fancy a fresh, musical experience.
