The experience is supported by the local second-hand shop Rataplan Enschede, which is going to donate plants and flowers that they saved from destruction and one of their plants will find its way to you, dear reader, when you come to the Re-Connect event (till the supplies last). The multimedia works produced for the Re-Connect are intended to act as mirrors where people’s inner landscapes, their life paths and emotions, merge with the external one, bonding in tune with the biosphere. Φili's main question is indeed: How can we raise awareness about climate change without letting people fall into eco-anxiety or denial? The answer she found is to not directly address the subject but keep the focus on the connection between humans and nature. The sonic experiences are meant to strengthen this connection and inspire positive action for the Earth.

Nonetheless, Φili Naturä doesn't consider herself an activist. She’s not trying to preach an ideology. What matters to Φili is creating space for critical thinking, for people to engage with the complexity of these critical issues, like climate change, in their own way. Φili aims to spark in you questions rather than provide you with answers.
