NTR 'Podium ' live radiobroadcast ArtEZ Academy of Music Zwolle
On Friday, June 6, the ArtEZ Academy of Music in Zwolle will be the musical center of the Netherlands. In honor of the 20th anniversary of NPO Klassiek, the program Podium Klassiek will broadcast live from this Zwolle breeding ground for the next generation of musicians. Audiences are welcome to attend this special broadcast.
The live broadcast will take place from 17:00 to 18:00 at Stadsmuur 88 in Zwolle. Visitors are welcome from 16:30. There are a limited number of spots available, so reservations are recommended. Access to the broadcast is free via a registration link (see below).
With this national spotlight, ArtEZ Academy of Music in Zwolle underlines its role as a leading Academy where tradition and innovation come together. Students who have progressed to the bachelor's and master's degree programs in classical music present their talents.
Presented by Maartje Stokkers, the program includes:
- An interview with Aljosja Buijs, head of the Classical Music program. A performance by trumpeter Nino Rijerkerk and pianist Nina Witsenburg. Vocal works by mezzo-soprano Aaike Nortier and soprano Rosa Ligtermoet and Steven Faber at the piano. Last but not least a performance by the ArtEZ String Ensemble, conducted by Sarah Kapustin!
