I’m Mariona Galimany, a trumpet player, singer, and songwriter based in Barcelona. I did my bachelor’s in Trumpet Jazz, but singing and writing lyrics has always been my second home.
In my final, you’ll see how I put 2 years of research into the stage. I’ll take you through my journey, from my fascination for horn section arranging in soul, fusion, and funk from the U.S. to my roots and the Catalan traditional music background that I carry with me.
It’s all about mixing genres but also mixing roles.
It will be an evening full of indie, pop, and soul, but also a lot of influences from Boleros or Habaneras.

Between 2 June and 1 July 2025, the finalists of the Jazz & Pop, Music Theatre, Composition for Film and Theatre and Master of Music programmes of the of ArtEZ Conservatorium Arnhem will play their graduation performances.
Most ArtEZ Conservatorium Arnhem graduation performances are free to attend.
