Masterclass & Concert - Laurens de Man

Who better to invite on the birthday of J.S. Bach (1685) than organist and pianist Laurens de Man. Last year, Laurens was the first organist honored with the Dutch Music Award, the highest award for musicians working in Classical Music. He also won first prizes including in the Prinses Christina Concours, the Klavierwettbewerb J.S.Bach in Wurzburg and in 2018 the Sweelinck-Muller Prize.

Back in the Corona days, Laurens gave a very inspiring workshop on ArtEZ, together with the "Dubbelgreep Collective" (whom are all alumni of our Academy of Music in Zwolle), and this was a huge succes! The subject was "Bach for Pianists" and they decided that they need to follow up on this one, and here we are!

After the concert of Laurens, our Bachelor and Master students will join Laurens on stage for a personal Masterclass, open for public as well!
