Fina Exam Ramses Hooymeijer - Jazz & Pop Drums

During this period, Ramses explored the boundaries of music and made it his own. What began with a love of rock and raw music developed during the conservatory years into a diverse palette consisting of jazz, fusion, pop and, of course, stayed on rock. Mainly Van Schaik's lessons created a new interest and later love for jazz.

This new love resulted in two formations. The Igor Herstel Trio and VLOT. With these acts, Ramses will take you on his journey of discovery through jazz/fusion music during the concert. The evening will conclude with that which started it all. CLOUDSURFERS will show the other side of Ramses' musicality and, as a finale, will press the audience to the back of their seats. With VIGOR (“strength, energy, enthusiasm”) Ramses will show the always constant factor within all these musical boundaries; energy.
