Final Exam Lucía Guerrero García - Classical Piano Master

  • Finals

For my final concert I will be performing works by Mozart, Brahms, and César Franck, with a special focus on Igor Stravinsky's Piano Sonata, a unique piece that is rarely featured in concert repertoires, despite being one of Stravinsky’s most significant works for piano.

Final Exam Lucía Guerrero García - Classical Piano Master

My name is Lucia and I am a classical pianist. Originally from Spain, I move to the Netherlands to futher my growth as a pianist.

This year, my research has centered around this sonata, using it as a basis to delve into the complex task of musical interpretation and to explore what we, as performers, can continue to contribute when approaching works from centuries past. This exploration not only enriches the interpretation but also seeks innovative ways to engage and sustain the audience's interest in classical music.
