Alumna Leticia van Neerven nominated for Keplerfilm Animation Award

Leticia van Neerven has been nominated for the Keplerfilm Animation Award 2021. This year, she graduated from the Illustration Design course in Zwolle. On 11 December, during the Netherlands Film Festival, it will be announced whether Leticia van Neerven and her stop-motion film have won the award.
Leticia van Neerven studied Illustration Design. During this course, she discovered her love for animation. Her stop-motion film Supershoes has now been nominated for the Keplerfilm Animation Award.
What is Supershoes about?
What would you do if you could imagine a place and go there with your magic shoes in just two clicks? In this short stop-motion animation, the main character ends up in a fairy tale. However, not a traditional one. It's a fairy tale in the social media age. Where modern society puts an enormous pressure to travel on everyone. From Venice to Cappadocia and even the moon, the beautiful surroundings seem to matter less and less, while the amount of likes seem more and more important.
