SPOTTED: Sempre Insieme wins 3rd prize in Gelre Chamber Music Competition

Students Anneloes Kriek of the bachelor Classical Vocals and Ilse Kok of the bachelor Classical Accordion won 3rd prize at the Gelre Chamber Music Competition. Together they make up the ensemble Sempre Insieme.
The versatility of the accordion and the expressiveness of the human voice make this pairing a very strong combination.
The jury praised the Classical Vocals and Classical Accordion duo for their ensemble playing and enthusiasm when performing songs by Kurt Weil (Compainte de la Seine) and Francis Poulenc (Nous voulons une petite soeur).
