Matteo Bal studied Fine Art and Design in Education but discovered that teaching was not for him. What to do then? Animate!
Fortunately, the course offers enough space to develop your visual qualities. After graduating from this experience, Matteo established Studio Balrus, an animation and illustration agency. His skills as a teacher and educator also came in handy when working with clients from the media and communication world, such as NTR and DWDD. Matteo shows how he has been doing after finishing his course from the archive of Volkskrant, where he works as an animator.
