Entering into the design process with confidence

Not just doing what you are instructed to do, but being an essential part of the design process. That, according to Paul Reedeker, is the value of the Interior Architecture course. Paul graduated in 2020 and talks about his course, about graduating and about work.

Entering into the design process with confidence

“A month or so after graduating, I got a job with STAAG architects. I have been working here for a while now as a technical drawer, but in practice my work mainly involves designing. My Interior Architecture course helped me to hold meaningful discussions about architecture and design. Because of the course, I don't simply do what I am instructed to do, I am an essential part of the design process. I attribute this to the fact that I have developed a critical and pragmatic attitude to work, which leads me to enter into discussions and the design process with confidence.

It feels good to translate theory into practice and to seek out and discover that freedom which is so typical of the academy in actual assignments."
