After your studies
After your studiesAfter taking the Try Out course, you will be well-equipped to go in several directions as a creative professional. For example, you could contribute to cultural projects such as festivals or creative civic initiatives. You could also work in sectors such as science, politics or media where your creative outlook will be appreciated. If you would like to continue your studies, you could also continue on to a master’s course.
Title and diploma
After successfully completing the Try Out Bachelor in Zwolle, you will be allowed to use the title “Bachelor of Arts” (BA). This course is registered in the Central Register of Higher Education Study Programmes (CROHO) under code 39111. The formal course name, under which this study is known by the CROHO, is Bachelor of Design. This CROHO name will also be listed on your diploma.
Getting to work
In several cases, alumni of artistic courses go on to work in some other capacity than only an artist. During an art course, you learn how to dedicate yourself and your work to something close to your heart, how to think objectively and critically, how to initiate change, and how to create something out of nothing. These are highly useful skills not only for a creative professional, but also in politics, media, science, and the cultural sector. After graduation, you could contribute to cultural projects, such as festivals and creative civic initiatives. You may also prefer to start working in the start-up scene or at a design agency.
