Ulrich Wentzlaff-Eggebert

Ulrich Wentzlaff-Eggebert holds a bachelor's degree in music (Cum Laude in bass guitar and double bass) and in music therapy from ArtEZ. ​He worked as a music therapist with children, adolescents, and the elderly.

In the last 25 years, he has taught bass guitar, double bass, (electric) guitar, band coaching, and string ensembles in music schools, public schools, and private classes. He is a highly demanded musician, performs in and outside of Europe in different groups and ensembles, playing a diversity of genres including jazz, improvised music, tango, Balkan music, rock, soul, blues, pop, classical and contemporary styles. He also participates in theater productions in the Netherlands, Germany, and Poland.  At ArtEZ, Ulrich Wentzlaff Eggebert teaches at the Music Education and Music Therapy Department courses like Musical Improvisation, Ear-training, Double bass, Bass guitar, and band coaching. At the master's course in Music Therapy, he teaches Improvisational Skills, coaches the final musical performance,  and is chair of the Advisory Committee of the course.
