Masters architecture and interior

What is space? Why do we create spaces at all? How do they function in context of our daily lives and society? As an (interior) architect, you influence and enhance people’s lives with your work. The ArtEZ Master’s courses go further than designing and building: by researching, experimenting and reflecting critically, you give shape to the world we live in and to the discourse of your profession.

Become an Architect or investigate the relation between the ‘corpo’ and the ‘real’

During the four-year Master Architecture (in Dutch), you work and study at the same time. Your diploma entitles you to be listed with the Bureau Architectenregister (Register of Architects); one graduated you may use the title of Architect. You will not be handed a fixed design recipe, but instead you will learn to develop your own design 'algorithm'; your way of achieving a fully-fledged design. Upon successful completion of the Master Architecture, you are entitled to use the academic title Master of Science (MSc).

With the English Master Interior Architecture (Corpo-real) you unravel the notion of space on a conceptual and all-embracing level: you investigate the relation between the ‘corpo’ (physical, psychological, digital, spiritual and virtual bodies) and the ‘real’ (the here and now – and beyond), developing an innovative, analytic, and critical attitude in your professional role as an interior architect. Upon successful completion of the master Interior Architecture (Corpo-real), you are entitled to use the academic title Master of Arts (MA).
