Elmar Noteboom
Elmar Noteboom is an artisteducator, lecturer at the master's course Education in Arts and the founder and director of InDifferent. His focus is on inclusive education, where he explored the role of art education in promoting socialization and subjectification, counteracting the hyperfocus on qualification in (secondary) education. InDifferent evolved into a foundation that collaborates with various secondary schools, vocational schools, and universities of applied sciences, building inclusive communities and providing lessons on sex, inclusion, and intersectionality.
Elmar has a versatile background in art and culture, ranging from illustrator and graphic designer to program advisor, performer, and guest speaker. With 15 years of experience as a visual arts teacher at a secondary school, he profiles himself as an agent of change and inclusion activist, regularly appearing as a guest speaker and workshop instructor.
