Research

Via our Starter Program, the sections Our home bloggers and Entrepreneur of the month, we obtain a useful and up-to-date insight into how our ArtEZ alumni manage after the academy. In the next four years, we want to delve into this wealth of knowledge and experience gained by researching the first two years after graduation.

It has turned out the competencies an alumnus has learned during their studies do not always correspond with the competencies necessary to build a sustainable career in practice as an artist. One cause could be that the academy often works with project-based education, and one seldom conversates and thinks about long-term plans. Our research is of added value for the study programs and deploys on new ideas and teaching methods that will be more in line with the practice and career of an artist.
