MonkeyJam Arnhem The MonkeyJam takes place every 4th Wednesday of the month in Café Bosch Arnhem. The jam is started by the Colored Monkeys house band, then the stage is free for all musicians present to join in! From 8:00 PM we will go wild on the beautiful stage of Café Bosch.

Footsteps. Effie Anna, a natural-born storyteller, will guide you through the uncertainty of the moment. You will follow her footsteps and she will trace around yours. Like a ray of sunshine, bringing warmth against your skin, the gentle touch of affection when someone you love holds your hand, let music take you through a collection of stories: intimate, yet strong; hesitant, yet undoubtful. Along with her, on this venture, will be people she met, loved and connected with musically. Each of them will be carrying parts of their own story. Kaledidoscope Sara Maraston is a cello player who dives into the world of instrumental folk jazz. The title of this performance, Kaleidoscope, reflects the core of Sara’s musical vision. Like the shifting patterns and vibrant colors seen through a kaleidoscope, her compositions take you on a journey to a colorful world, where emotions are in constant movement, turning upside down and reshaping themselves into new meanings and different perspectives. In this concert, Sara brings together musicians and friends she met during her studies at the Conservatory of ArtEZ. At the heart of the performance, however, is her established band. In this ensemble, the melodic voice of the cello waves together with the clarinet and saxophone, all supported by a rhythm section that’s uniquely accompanied by the presence of the accordion. With a strong background in classical music, Sara creates an elegant fusion of tradition and innovation. Her music reflects a deep connection to her roots and the diverse musical influences that shape her work. Q's final A jazz flutist and singer from China who pours her soul into every note she plays and weaves her life into her music. Her jazz flows where East meets West, where tradition meets modernity and where honesty meets creativity. Having devoted the first twenty years of her life to classical music, she felt an undeniable call to explore both herself and the world beyond. This longing led her to the Netherlands, where she embarked on a journey to study jazz. Over four transformative years, her perspective on improvisation deepened, expanding in unexpected ways. She found profound inspiration not only in the natural world but also in her rich Chinese heritage, which infused her music with a unique blend of tradition and innovation. Like nature itself—ever-changing and full of wonder—she continues to grow, embracing new experiences and opening herself to endless possibilities.

Behind the scenes of ArtEZ Academy of Art & Design Arnhem, graduates are working hard on the Finals exhibitions! Fourth-year students Product Design, Creative Writing, Fashion Design, BEAR Fine Art, Docent Beeldende Kunst en Vormgeving, Design Art Technology and Graphic Design will show their projects from July 2 to 5, 2025.
