The ArtEZ String Ensemble and the Vocal Class of the ArtEZ Conservatory in Zwolle, together with students from the Composition for Film and Theatre program in Arnhem, present a fresh take on Dido & Aeneas by Henry Purcell – a true Baroque classic and the very first English opera. In addition to Purcell’s masterpiece, you’ll also hear new compositions by students from Arnhem and Zwolle, inspired by the style of Dido & Aeneas.
