The MonkeyJam takes place every 4th Wednesday of the month in Café Bosch Arnhem. The jam is started by the Colored Monkeys house band, then the stage is free for all musicians present to join in! From 8:00 PM we will go wild on the beautiful stage of Café Bosch.

I’m Mariona Galimany, a trumpet player, singer, and songwriter based in Barcelona. I did my bachelor’s in Trumpet Jazz, but singing and writing lyrics has always been my second home.
In my final, you’ll see how I put 2 years of research into the stage. I’ll take you through my journey, from my fascination for horn section arranging in soul, fusion, and funk from the U.S. to my roots and the Catalan traditional music background that I carry with me.
It’s all about mixing genres but also mixing roles.
It will be an evening full of indie, pop, and soul, but also a lot of influences from Boleros or Habaneras.
