Welcome to paradise! You cannot hide here. Radical authenticity and courage, embracing the music that is there, superseding the ego. That is what my studies here at ArtEZ are about and it is also what I am searching for in my final performance. Apart from some music that I wrote and some favorite pieces that have accumulated in my musical world, the direction of the concert will mainly be determined by what lies within the people playing that night. Improvisation is key, culminating in the now. How will it sound? Think of it as Neanderthaler-Jazz! So again, welcome to paradise. No one can hide here. No need. abide, my friend   hey, Nice to meet you, my name is P. I’m a kid who wants to make beautiful things. Besides my ‘main’ instrument, the bass, I long to explore and use other mediums like piano, guitar, painting, singing, writing… as long as it’s genuine to the cause.  Creating is like a stepping through a portal. It takes me to a place where I get to live with my own characters and fables. It’s the realm of the dreamer.  As Oscar Wilde put it: “Art’s only aim is to simply create a mood”.
