Marco Braun is a German guitar player, songwriter and producer. Coming from a popular music background, Marco dove deeper into the realms of jazz and improvised music during the last four years at ArtEZ. Simultaneously, he released an album and toured with his Indie band So Soon internationally.    For this final concert, he gathers all the people that were most important to him during the time in Arnhem both musically as well as personally. The concert will only consist of original music with an innate melancholy and a distinctive warm and wide sound. Combining the world of improvised music with multi-layered songwriting, this concert is as an attempt to play “himself“ as honestly as possible.   MUSICIANS  Pauline Timmerbeil - Bass Daniel Louis - Drums Jasper Edeler - Guitar Special Guests - tba   So Soon David Stöbener - Vocals, Keys, Bass Christoph Stöbener - Keys, Synth Tobias Weber - Drums     WEBSITE & SOCIAL MEDIA   Website: https://alwayssosoon.com/ Social Media: https://www.instagram.com/alwayssosoon YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/@alwayssosoon     Credit for Press Photo Sascha Bystrova

Kairos Pedro Coloma is a Chilean composer focused on acoustic and electronic instrumental music, with an interest in sound itself. Inspired by multiple artists, he creatively searches for different ways to express and resonate with the project’s main message, whether it is a film, or an autonomous piece.   For his final, Pedro is working on an independent film, combining visuals and audio (soundtrack, spoken word, soundscapes, sound design) in a creative and evoking way in order to deliver the main message to the audience. “Kairos” shows the importance of being in the moment and appreciating simple things through the images and sounds of common places and daily life surroundings, supported by an immersive soundtrack that gives life to the images.   Website: https://www.pedrocoloma.com   Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/pedro.coloma.music/   Email: pedro.coloma.music@gmail.com

SPACES   Joep Verheijen presents SPACES.  A film exploring atmosphere through music and architecture, premiered on June 25th at Focus film theatre in Arnhem.   In SPACES monumental buildings are accompanied by an impressive musical score to properly capture the essence of their atmospheres.    Joep Verheijen is a Dutch composer with a focus in composition for orchestral music and music for various ensembles. His style combines influences from baroque to contemporary classical music with influences from film music.   He creates atmospheres through music by exploring the depth and richness of color of musical instruments, always pushing the limits to find the most powerful way to tell a story.  In SPACES Joep captures the atmospheres of exceptional architecture like Beeld & Geluid in Hilversum and the Wassenhove Villa near Ghent. Through music, Joep transports the audience into these buildings, letting them experience their atmospheres  the way he experienced them and opening them up to an entirely new way of looking at architecture.   Through a variety of instruments, ranging from full orchestra, to the Matangi string quartet, and the Walcker organ in Doesburg, Joep portrays the atmospheres of these buildings with much detail and the depth that can be found in the versatility of these ensembles and instruments.   Four buildings are the subject of this project. These buildings are all vastly different but also share similar aspects. Their atmospheres are comparable yet completely different. This contrast is showcased both through image and music, through which Joep reflects his subjective experience of each of the atmospheres onto the audience, passing through the spaces the way he sensed them.
