Open day ArtEZ Academy of Music in Zwolle

Get a taste of the atmosphere of our beautiful monastery and come and talk to students and teachers.

You can register for the open day from the end of September.

At the Open Day of the Academy of Music in Zwolle, you can get acquainted with the Music in Education, Jazz & Pop and Classical Music courses. We offer a programme consisting of information rounds with heads of department, teachers and students. You can also sign up on site for trial lessons, theory tests and live performances in the new studio, among other things. Keep an eye on this page for the complete programme.

A cloister full of music!

Throughout the day, the conservatory is full of music in all forms. There is much to see and do.

Bring your instrument and visit one of the main subject teachers. The following instruments and teachers will be present: Percussion, Double Bass, Composition, Flute, Mandolin, Clarinet, Guitar, Saxophone, Trumpet, Harp, Vocals, French Horn, Viola, Cello, Violin, Piano, Bassoon, Oboe, Drums and Keys.

Theory and Admission

During the day, there are several sessions in which you can find out about a preliminary course, theory test and entrance exam.

Music theory test

During the open day, there is an opportunity to take a music theory test for both Jazz & Pop and Classical Music. Do you pass the test during the open day? Then you no longer need to take a theory test during your entrance exam. You can register at the reception desk after entering. Don't be late!

Are you coming to the open day with someone else? Each prospective student can bring two extra people to the open day.
