Duets ArtEZ Dance Artist x Museum Arnhem
How do a museum's architecture and collection provide inspiration for a compelling dance performance? This always intriguing question forms the foundation of a special collaboration between Museum Arnhem and the dance school ArtEZ Dance Artist that this year leads to 11 special duets that can be seen at the Museum on June 12 and 13.

Each year, ArtEZ second-year students are invited to create a unique duet, within the confines of Museum Arnhem or in its immediate surroundings. These talented students are guided by the various works of art within the museum walls, both reacting to and interacting with the space around them. Whether it is the vistas in the modern wing of the museum, the panoramic view of the Rhine, or even the atmosphere of Café Pierre; no aspect of Museum Arnhem is left unused.
The students are coached by various professionals in the fields of choreography, dramaturgy, theatricality, musicality and theater technique. These coaches are Reut Aviran, Jochem Naafs, Irma Nijenhuis, Silvia Borzelli and Bram Allard.
A total of 11 extraordinary duets will be presented, divided into two routes. Each route offers a unique experience, in which 5 or 6 duos will perform their skills.
